Regular Stock Purchases

First quality BugRugs purchased via this website may be returned for any reason, provided it is within 14 days of receiving the rug and the rug is returned in its original unused condition.  Rugs should be returned in their original packaging, or a suitable substitute packaging where the original cannot be used.  Please note that BugRugs is not responsible for any damages incurred during returning shipping and damaged rugs will not be accepted for return.  A full refund of the purchase price will be paid minus any postage, freight or courier costs incurred by BugRugs.  

If Afterpay was the selected payment method on a returned order, please note that Afterpay's merchant fees are non-refundable.  As Afterpay fees will vary per order, please contact BugRugs at to determine the merchant fees associated with an order.  In this case, the refunded amount will be the purchase price of the rug minus courier costs and Afterpay merchant fees.   

As an example, a rug is purchased via PayPal for $279 with local delivery costs of $10.  If the rug is returned in its original unused condition within 14 days, the refunded amount to the customer would be $269 ($279 - $10 delivery fee to customer).  Customers can arrange for return shipping through Australia Post or a courier of their choice at their own cost.

Clearance & Factory Seconds Purchases

Rugs marked as "Factory Seconds" or sold as "Clearance Stock" are not eligible for "Change of Mind" returns. 

In the case of "Factory Seconds", an overview of the nature of the flaw is provided in the product description and it is understood that the consumer is aware that they are reduced to clear due to various imperfections.  Contact BugRugs at prior to purchase of a factory second if additional information regarding specific rug imperfections is required.  "Change of Mind" returns are not applicable for Factory Seconds sales.

In the case of clearance stock, it is understood that items are being sold at a reduced price to clear unwanted stock.  "Change of Mind" returns are not applicable for Clearance sales.
